Learn a Language
Africa has a multitude of languages. In South Africa there are 11 official languages alone, and for example in the Zulu language over 27 dialects. There are language schools for English in many countries, as well as main stream African languages. Do a short course in Swahili before embarking on your youth project; African wildlife work opportunities or community development projects, thus being able to communicate a whole lot better.
Teaching & TEFL Projects

A real way to improve lives, be it working on volunteering in Africa! Give the gift of education. Assist as a volunteer in getting the next generation of African's literate, be it working in a crèche sowing the seeds of basic education (and English), or helping Adults to be self-empowered by being able to read, write and more.  Our plight is dangerous as ignorant people are subject to the worst forms of exploitation!

Animal Projects

Either volunteer in communities looking after their sick and hurt animals, or work with animals who can also be used as part of the healing process.
